I have never found any restaurants in North or South Lake Tahoe that are outstanding. If there are some, we have never found them and we have been there a lot. Heidi's in South Lake Tahoe is pretty good for breakfast.

Just took a mini vacation up to Reno last week and my husband and I ate at 5th St Bakehouse. Super good and wallet friendly! My husband and I both had the El Hefe breakfast burrito, I highly recommend it. Our food and drinks came to less than $20 even after leaving a good tip!

The wife and I had date afternoon. We went to Famous Dave's bbq for lunch, and I brought home an extra side of ribs for dinner. Then we went and bought her a dress for a Wedding she's going to. I stay home with the dog!

I know, Famous Dave's are everywhere, but it is good stuff on occasion. Hopefully, Beto's will be up next on 5th st.

I like the stuffed croissants, those are by far my favorite breakfast item. I also like the pulled pork breakfast sandwich.

We finally made it to Beto's. The wife's Carnitas was okay, and maybe a bit dry. My Fajitas were acceptable, but not stellar. I can understand why it would be considered a great burrito place though.

Is there anywhere in Reno that serves Fajitas on a cast iron skillet that's not a major chain?

This is in Sparks: John's Oyster Bar in the Nugget. I have eaten tons of his Shrimp Pan Roast.
