I can barely remember my dad, I was so young when he died. But PROUD to say I have become more and more of my mothers child with age....she is such a wonderful woman and I am lucky to be proud of the fact!

Crabby, cantankerous, overly opinionated, obnoxious, short-tempered, paranoid, self-righteous.

Laid back, glazed over, could care less, accommodating, sweet, catering.

Depends on which day.

I can understand that. I always considered my mother my role model-of how NOT to be...

I think in many ways I am much like my father; but of course with times changing not exactly.

I seem to be turning into one of my dad's sisters! I have my mom's temperament, but I like to think I'm less volatile.

Exclamation Becoming your parents

If I was like my mom, that would be a good thing.
I often wonder about this topic. I like to be aware of the fact that each generation has had its problems dating back to the early 1900's when people came to America from everywhere and joined into cultural groups that they were familiar with. I get frustrated when I see people trying to change who they are because they are becomming their parents. And some poeple have the ability to be just who they want. Some are completely transformed into their parents; negative faults and all, and don't see it. Some people become greater than thei rparents because their parents were awesome and taught them how to maximize their potential. I really like to see people be who they are and try the things they want despite any wrongful act done unto them.
I hope people find it in themselves to try all and do all because, man, life is short! What you don't do will be a future regret.

I am more like them than I thought possible.

Are you and in what way?
No. Even though I looked like my mother, I always thought I was dropped off at my parents' doorstep. I still feel that way.
