Several forum members frequent Long Live Beerworks, and we've had discussions regarding the safety of the neighborhood where it is located. That is why it was mentioned and not those other places. Nobody on here shops at La Gigante Meat Market.
How do you know that?
And why does it matter which shops or breweries forum members frequent? La Gigante was the closer reference point.
If it's not too complicated or time consuming, I'd like to request that massnative71 put together a zoomed in map that shows all of the serious violent crimes that have happened near Long Live Beerworks.
And perhaps in the future when posting all new serious violent crimes, we should note the distance from Long Live.
Or not. Because it has nothing at all to do with Long Live

I have both shopped at the meat market (though not often) and live a short walk from LL on a beautiful safe street. Sooooo... what do you know. Wrong again.
If someone is fearful near LL, they must pee their pants everytime they cross a busy street
I suspect though they don't live here, never frequent here, and just see an urban area on a street view and cower in their basements to avoid life.

Long Live Beerworks is a notable landmark. La Gigante Meat Market is not.
The store on the main road that's been there since I moved into Providence is less of a landmark than a place on a side road 3 blocks away that can't be seen from the road, and that's only been there few years?
