I will say once again, anybody making such a claim had zero intention of visiting Providence in the first place. I stand by that.

As for the two kids who went on a 5 hour shooting spree and led half the state on a high speed chase, we are still waiting for the full facts. In one of those body cam images it looked like the cop was punching away at the suspect, while in another video from another angle it looked like the kid was fighting with them as they were trying to get the cuffs on. Common issue with "videos". Nobody spit on anybody.
You're missing a video if you didn't see that

Three men were just shot in the Smith Hill neighborhood of Providence. They were apparently in a vehicle on Richter St. (off of Chalkstone) and also close to the Aldi on Smith St., when supposedly somebody stepped out of another vehicle and opened fire on them. They are expected to survive.

Richter Street runs between Chalkstone and Smith. The picture shows that it's closer to Smith Street. In the background, you can see the plaza with Advanced Auto Parts, Popeye's, Family Dollar, Aldi, etc.

Channel 12 now says they are not sure if the suspect stepped out of another vehicle, or was on foot. They also said that the vehicle they (the victims) were in, was sitting outside one of their homes.

These animals terrorized the city for 5 hours, recklessly endangered the lives of countless motorists, and this cop hater is focused on spittle. Great police work, and dangerous work at that, in taking this scum off the street before they killed somebody. There's law enforcement, and there's gutless second guessers. Which do you suppose we could do without?

I generally agree, although law enforcement will always be held to higher moral standards than the general public (never mind a few degenerates from the Manton Heights housing projects) can realistically be expected to live by. But I find it much more bothersome that those officers face suspension for muttering a few swear words during that absolute $hitshow on Sayles St. The sergeant there ended up retiring over it, who can blame him really (huge slap in the face considering what him and his men had to deal with on that evening)? But I'm sure his departure was a great loss to the city, and sends a very bad message for the department's morale.

Saying that, I do not think "spitting on the ground" is a huge deal in the face of what these scoundrels put them and the city through on that day. At most the guy deserves a "talking to".
