While walking with his friend he told police that a “black vehicle with heavily tinted windows approached both of them.”
The victim told police that an unknown man walked out of the car and fired two shots in the direction of the victim hitting him in his right foot, according to Verdi."
Good evening folks. I normally only post the crime map month by month, cumulatively throughout the year, but this past weekend has been a particularly rough one in the city of Providence (for this time of year that is). Ten felony assaults occurred. I thought it might be noteworthy to map where the serious violent incidents occurred over the past weekend.
