There was just an interview on Channel 10 with the woman who got shot in the leg at Revel Lounge. She said there's a metal detector, people are patted down, and purses are checked. She doesn't understand how there was a gun in there.
Maybe it was one of those plastic guns you can make with a 3d printer??
Or maybe it was the DJ, and he didn't need to go through security. The fight started near the DJ.
2nd incident: "Police are investigating a shooting after gunshots were reported early Saturday morning at a home on Bowdoin Street in the Olneyville section of the city for the second time this week.
Police said they found at least 17 spent shell casings at the front door of the Bowdoin Street home and more inside the house Saturday morning.
A vehicle outside the house was also shot twice on the driver-side door, according to a police report."
1st incident: "Full details on the first incident from earlier this week have not been released but the Providence FOP, the union representing Providence police officers, put out a "public safety alert" on Twitter Friday that said: "Thursday morning at approximately 3 am, 31 shots were fired into a home on Bowdoin St. An eleven-year-old described seeing a red laser shine through her window and shots going off moments later. Thankfully no one was injured."
Shots fired in Lower South Providence (Harriet Street)
Also from the article linked in the previous post:
"Commander Verdi said Providence police are also investigating another overnight shooting that happened Friday night in the Elmwood neighborhood.
Undercover officers were watching a group of approximately 20 people huddled around a makeshift memorial in front of the park located on Harriet Street between Sayles and Oxford streets, according to a police report. The crowd dispersed after the sound of gunshots rung out.
Once the crowd dispersed police began chasing a Nissan Pathfinder with Connecticut plates that was connected to the large gathering.
Following a brief pursuit, a police report said a semiautomatic 9mm pistol that had been stolen was later found under the floor liner of the Nissan Pathfinder that Devin Davis, 39, was driving."
