It's nice to get up on a Saturday morning and not see any shootings or stabbings in the news.

I try not to "jinx it", but maybe this does mean that the "summer" is finally coming to a close.

This is where La Gigante Meat Market is. It is not far from Long Live Beerworks.

The Parkview Bakery Café is directly across the street from the Broad Street entrance to Roger Williams Park. And it is very close to the planned Roger Williams Park "gateway" project.

I believe this bakery/nightclub got in trouble at one point for not following covid rules.

More info on the Parkview shots fired incident across from the Broad St. entrance to RWP. Another source also mentioned that the "bakery" was ordered closed.

Someone named Will Vail left a 1 star Google review for Parkside Bakery Café.

"Mediocre food. The real problem with them is that they are terrible to live near. They operate as a makeshift nightclub with a dance floor that incorporates their parking lot. They play incredibly loud music late into the night. From almost a block away I can hear their music as though it were in my house. Then, even after they close - their patrons, who are parked down all of the sides streets, drunkenly yell at one-another as they walk to their cars. It used to be every Friday and Saturday but now the loud nights have spread to cover all but Monday nights. It is awful. I honestly hope they go out of business."
