I think it's pretty clear that he slept through Leadership 101 when at Harvard.

He's not wrong, but he's still making excuses to do nothing.

It's not about being right or wrong, it's about taking ownership of his job and like you said not being absent from his responsibilities as a mayor.

Exclamation More bullets on Herschel Street (Manton neighborhood)

Bullets hit woman’s headboard while two week old sleeps beside her

"Police say a home on Herschel Street was hit with 14 bullets around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Two of those bullets hit the headboard of a 19-year-old female, while her two-week-old baby slept in a bassinet beside her bed.

Police say when they got to the house, they found 14 bullet holes on the side of the house. Projectiles were found on the first and second floors.

No injuries were reported.

This is the same house where a man was shot and killed in the front yard more than a year ago. "

House would be 10 Herschel St.

Would have been hard to get a shot off at the 2nd floor from Herschel St., I'm thinking the gunman came from the apartment (Riveredge) parking lot side.

The bullets found on the 2nd floor were projectiles. But looking at the street view, I don't think it's possible to shoot the side of the house from the road. They must have been on foot...and, yeah, likely came from the apartment complex behind the house.

Exclamation Olneyville shots fired

In addition to the Herschel Ave. shooting, last night a house was also shot up on Florence St. in Olneyville (believe it somewhere close to Amherst St.). This is right behind Julian St., a very troubled neighborhood.

https://www.golocalprov.com/news/bul...dence-shooting

"Shots Fired in Earlier Incident
On Tuesday night around 9:15 p.m., police responded to the Julian and Amherst Streets -- just off of Atwells Avenue -- for a report of shots fired.
Nearby on Florence Street -- behind Julian Street -- police located more than a dozen shell casings.
A van at the location was found to have two rounds in the driver's side door.
The house on Julian Street had numerous rounds go through the house into the second floor apartment, according to police."

The value of your house has increased.

Providence College is not in South Providence.

The end.
Promise?

Unfortunately, Providence is a city of haves and have nots. Also unfortunately true, is the fact that crime is concentrated (like most cities) in the lower income areas of the city. And in Providence, you are correct that those particular areas tend to be minority/majority. Perhaps, that's a good explanation for the lack of urgency among RI's ruling class as well as white middle-class folk from Jamestown. I suggest you find a better outlet for your guilt, then taking it out on the "messenger" who treats all shootings and stabbings with EO.
