"Shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of a shooting on Union Avenue.
Police learned the victim was sitting in his vehicle at the location when two suspects came up to the vehicle and began shooting.
Cranston police were also called as the victim fled on foot to Alto Street."
Elmwood shots fired:
"Providence police responded around 5 a.m. Sunday morning to reports of shots fired on Elmwood Avenue — along with reports that there were guns at an after-hours party nearby.
At the location, police stopped and searched a vehicle where they found a firearm and magazine.
The driver and occupants of the vehicle were detained for questioning."
"Officers were called to Whipple Street just after midnight for a report of shots being fired.
When they arrived at the scene, they found several spent shell casings on the ground and that a home and an unoccupied vehicle were struck by bullets."
A 54 year old guy was hit in the head with an aluminum baseball bat last night in Warren. This happened on Market Street - where the Cumberland Farms is. That's at the corner of Market Street & Federal Street.
Note that the video below mentions Market Street & Sanders Street. To the best of my knowledge there isn't a Sanders Street in Warren.
"From what I saw, the kid just came out of the house with the bat and just cracked him right in the back of the head," said Moitoza. "I don't know -- I'm not going to get that tink sound out of my head for a long time. It was horrible."
I guess it didn't make the media, but there was also an incident Friday night at the Mi Sueno (1070 Broad St. in South Providence).

Cool story, bro.
