It says "two" towns were named, but mentions three (Warren, Wickford, and Westerly). I'm guessing Warren and Wickford were the two best and Westerly, the "alternative"?

Food, history and beaches. Yankee Magazine named these RI towns among best places to live

Westerly was the "alternative Coastal town" - which makes little sense because they said Warren made it for being an up and coming foodie town, and Wickford for its architecture- though it's not a town at all.

Weird to introduce an alternative in a completely new category!

Westerly is an alternative to Marblehead, which was the "best coastal town". I guess the list is for all of New England, and these towns mentioned are those that happen to be in RI. I misinterpreted it at first, and think they might have even changed the title. I could swear that it first said something about the best towns to live "in RI".

Maybe because this is the only message board I am really on?

Surprised Butler lets you online at this hour.

Poor little baby upset that his FAIL thread got recently locked.

At least I have my freedom. Hope you can someday leave Blackstone Blvd. and experience life outside of your cuckoo political forums.

I'm not going to talk to a Butler patient about reality. That's just above my pay grade.

Say hi to Krusty Kroissant Kid. Hope he's OK in there, haven't heard a peep lately...

Whichever side of the Butler gate you're on, put me on the other. While I may not be in political alignment with everybody here, I'll always give due points to those 2 who are at the least sharp & interesting. You may find yourself clever, but the reality is your routine here is so monotonously predictable as to be mind numbing. Just an observation, nothing personal.

Wickford isn’t a town. It’s a village in the town of North Kingstown. My mother lived in the semi-rural part of town north of Quonset and east of Route 1. The 02852 zip code is the northern half of town and more or less goes from the Jamestown Bridge north to East Greenwich and includes Wickford Village. My town over the line in Massholia has a similar arrangement with two zip codes and multiple villages.
