There are claims that there are quite a few hauntings all over the state. If you like ghost towns and you are willing to drive a little, you should check out Frisco in the southwest part of the state. There were more murders there per capita than any other city in the U.S.
Wow. Any particular reason why there were so many murders there? Does anyone know anything about Ogden? It has quite a history. I'd bet there are some hauntings up there.

This is long, but it tells you alot about Ogden's most notorious murder cases.

It was just a very bad town with lots of bad people living there.

"Murders were said to have been so frequent that city officials contracted to have a wagon pick up the bodies and take them to boot hill for burial."

Here's a link with a little more history:
Frisco, Utah - Ghostown With a Ten Year High

Ogden also claims to have a lot of hauntings.

Does anyone know if Post Chapel - the little church by the University of Utah guest house - has any stories behind it? I can only find Clem @ the Fort Douglas Museum and a lady in white that roams some of the dorms. I'm specifically looking for inside Post Chapel.

A little quirky, I know ;D

Frisco was a stereotypical wild west mining town and had a trigger happy lawman keeping the peace. It's a fascinating history.

Ogden was the second biggest city and "gentile" haven at the turn of the century, that made it's fortune with the railroad. The history is almost palpable walking the streets there, even if it is a bit run down today.

There's a spook alley every year at the Old Granite Church at 9800 S 3100 E. It's a creepy old place---I know the owner and he puts on quite the show there. Old sculptures, medical equipment, antique armor and weapons--the whole nine yards.

I've seen Flo at the Ogden City Cemetary. I was very skeptical beforehand, but now believe something is there. It's so hard to say what, and IDK if I really believe what I saw as the mind can play tricks on you. It was definitely a creepy and yet wonderful experience.

I would like to know more about this location. My family lives in the area and we would like to go this year but not sure when it opens or times.
