I personally try to drive them off the road and I wish the police did a better job of pulling them all over. drunk driving is pure stupidity and usually always hurts everyone but the stupid drunk that's driving..

Hello,

Trying to run people "OFF OF THE ROAD??!!!" because you ASSUME they are drunk.

Shooting the bird at people talking on their cell phones legally, because you do not approve???!!!!

Sounds like YOU are the AGGRESSIVE DRIVER and you are just adding to the problem.

If you want to be in control of others driving habits, apply to the SAPD and put on the uniform, otherwise, let the Police handle the Policing matters.

edit- I have a special hatred for drunk drivers, but I'll keep that opinion to myself.. I just wish they would hurt themselves more than they hurt others, or at least get a little bit of intelligence...

Hi,

I worked for a lot of years at night and reading your post scares me a little. Trying to drive people off the road who you assume to have been drinking sounds to me like criminal assault and it is you who are to blame for trying to injure someone.

Being a night worker for many years and being a little tired or distracted can easily be misinterpreted as DUI. Then to have a man on a personal crusade to "punish me" really does scare me. I think you might want to rethink your driving.

Reynolds 1979,
Welcome to SA. You find the majority of very friendly and fun. I think you'll love it here. As far as transportation. Look into the VIA Bus system VIA Metropolitan Transit . I have a friend who uses it successfully and has no complaints. I saw someone mentioned the Lion and the Rose Pub, that's a great place. There is also a new place that just recently opened up called The Firkin Bull.

You'll need a doctor's prescription to get those meds for your asthma. I have a very good allergy/asthma specialist to recommend.

Check out the King William neighborhood... It's really the only place in SA that that you can walk to get a decent beer and/or dinner. Public transportation leaves much to be desired which is why I bring this up--nothing like the UK. The neighborhood here is very safe, an eclectic mix of people--artists, professionals-- and commuting is easy. We are also an easy walk to downtown for wine bars, theater, etc. The houses have tons of character and if you are patient you can usually pick up a very cool one ~$300k. The rental market here is also reasonable if you shop around.

Cheers

That's what I was thinking. I would bet there are alot of stories about the 'drunk that tried to run me off the road'. I surprised someone hasn't taken a shot at the assulter.
