It's like crack dealers.. you can't get rid of them as long as there's plenty of business and obviously there's no shortage of business here in SA.

THROW AWAY YOUR CRAP PEOPLE!! I have two cars and a motorcycle in my garage with no problem, so it can be done..

Maybe the storage will have a few office's for rent so it won't look so crappy, who knows.

Just wait for those beautiful storage units to welcome you home after a long days work. That and those shady apts. I guess there is a high demand due to alot of military around this area? Who knows, but they definitely are an eyesore. Also, Which Wich has become my new favorite place to go over here. Get the vegetarian on wheat. They also have an Elvis Presley which is banana and peanut butter I believe. Check em out.

I was going to ask the same thing, but forgot to look this thread up.. If it's the bridge between the two parks, I can think of at least a billion other things the county could spend money on. And even if it's the other one, what would that accomplish? Put two lanes on Military between Westcreek Oaks and 1604 if you want to actually help us. That single lane combined with WAY too many stop signs and the accompanying idiots that can't comprehend stop sign etiquette are enough to drive me crazy.

Default water thief?

Just got my SAWS bill for July...normally our usage is 1500 to 1000 gal under the neighborhood avg. Almost 2 months ago we moved and left our house vacant waiting for a buyer. Since we left our usage has been 3000 gal above our normal monthly avg. The lawn is still getting watered by manual sprinklers once a week per the restrictions and sometimes once more a week by hand. I am sure there is not a plumbing leak being ignored because we have people looking over things frequently. Is it so bad in the villages that people are stealing water now? Or is SAWS doing something funny with the billing? Why is my monthly usage exactly the same as the SAWS avg of 10,473? The neighborhood avg was 11,222, am I missing something?

I hear several times each year about Folks stealing water from neighbors. As a matter of fact I visited with an elderly Lady on the Eastside today and in conversation she told me about a neighbor who was stealing water. She caught them in the act, they told her their meter was pulled and they were filling up gallon milk jugs. That would have been an easy catch for me and a call to SAPD would have stopped any more stealing. Its funny (No Matter Were One Lives) how priorities are all screwed up. Folks will buy their beer and pay the cable before their CPS or SAWS bills are paid. With you all being gone your hose bibb and the fact that the water is still on makes a theft pretty attractive.
Although I haven't seen any I have been told that both Lowes and the Home Depot sell locks for hose bibbs.
Hopefully your water wasn't stolen. Do your neighbors' have green lawns or perhaps a pool????

It's possible that you've got a leaking commode. One "quick and dirty" way to ensure someone's not taking water from your faucets outside is to just remove the handles and put 'em in a drawer inside. Most won't mess w/trying to turn 'em on with pliers....
