Holy cow! When I first clicked on this thread, I thought it said "My girlfriend hit my neighbor's cat"!!! I really need to start paying attention better! Dang.

oh great....now we'll have to endure 12 more pages on whether or not a replacement cat has to be a purebred or just some stray picked up from the pound.

If the owner had taken better care of the cat, it wouldn't have been walking in the middle of the road when his girlfriend hit it at 5 miles per hour. ANd this guy wouldn't have gotten upset. That pretty much sums it up.
