How much are you paying for lifetime fitness? I want to join, but looking to see what some of you are paying. I would probably be just joining for myself at the moment, but add my wife and daughter in about a year (so thats a while) but couldnt hurt to see what a family is paying?? i know its a bit cheaper per person when you join the family vs alone.

I'm open to opinion on other gyms as well but my 2 main requirements are

1. MUST BE 24 HOURS
2. MUST HAVE INDOOR BASKETBALL COURTS

$120 for my wife and me, + $6 per kid (we have 3 of them) = $138 per month + tax = $150.

We had signed up with them a long time ago when they first opened, and it was about $100 for the couple, then $15 for our daughter. We downgraded to the $10 month option (no gym service but you can go back to the old rate later) then cancelled the membership when we moved out of state for a year. Just got back on when we moved back. It's a little more expensive now, but I look at it this way: it's a very good gym, the one at the RIM is awesome. The children's area is excellent, the pool is great, we love the family locker room, great equipment, etc., etc. I see it as a luxury because of the price, but since we try to go every day it's worth it. The kids love it, because they can be in the children's area while we work out, and then after that we take them swimming. Good, healthy fun. I lost 30 lbs two years ago, thanks a lot to changing my eating habits and working out a lot at this gym. I'm glad we're back on. And that one is 24 hours, and it does have basketball courts. I believe all of them are that way.

We love Lifetime. Our membership is at The Rim. $150 a month for all four of us. 2 hours of childcare per day is included in that....wonderful and a Godsend during the summer!
