Avoid Babcock and Gen McMullen locations. Fastest location is Pat Booker and S. New Braunfells.

I need to renew mine too.

I used to go to the office in Bandera. In and out in under 10 minutes, nice friendly people, not to mention the beautiful drive. If you have time, enjoy the sights and scenery of the area and grab some lunch. Yes, the price of gas sucks, but for me, I'd rather spend a little money driving in the country than stand in line for half a day.

Oh do I ever remember the Babcock location, the worst! They should shut it down forever! Send everyone to the nice little DL offices in scenic little towns where they can better serve us.

Supposedly, they are busiest on Mondays and Fridays. The Pat Booker one seems to clear out after about 1:00 pm. (relative to the crowds before that time)

I heard there's a plan to build a very large DL office in Leon Valley. The residents in the neighborhood object apparently and are fighting the idea.

I think that's just a vehicle depot for TxDOT that's planned for Huebner and Evers. The Leon Valleyites don't want to look at a parking lot full of commercial trucks and they don't want to have those trucks rumbling through their city all day and all night.

Another vote for the Boerne location. Even though its about a 30 min drive for me, I'd rather spend that time driving than waiting.

It's going to be some sort of super office.

I went to the Pat Booker office to renew last June. It took me about 2 hours. I think it was in the middle of the week around 11:00.

When I got mine renewed I was the only person there. However, their photo taking skills suck...
