Agree so much with this. Hadn't I heard that it was going to be turned into either a nicer property or a hotel? They had a buyer at one point.

Frost Bank Tower 386 Feet

Hilton Canopy 247 Feet


Starting by the end of this year:

Pearl Office Tower 195 Feet

Cambria Hotel 236 Feet

Thompson Hotel and Condos 273 Feet



The 32 floor JMJ towers will be over 350 feet and that will really make a difference in the skyline when that project get under way. We will never be Austin nor do I personally want us to be.

Yes but it projects Austin to be a bigger city with more jobs, wealth, brains and progressive attitudes. SA airport is also getting destroyed by Austin since about 20% of the Austin airport travelers are from SA, they drive there for cheaper fares. Austin already kicking our butt with hotel occupancy and it is not even a major convention city.

That same old that a do attitude persists in SA
