Now you have my curiosity up - why is it called an "egg" cream if there's no egg in it? Regardless, it sounds yummy and I'm definitely gonna see if Big Top makes one next time I'm there!
BTW, Big Top's soda jerks make DELISH drinks and the place smells like HEAVEN when you walk in!!!! It's a must visit!

I'm curious about hat too. I'm sure they're great but the "egg cream" makes it sound gross. Wikipedia to the rescue. Looks like early versions might have had egg in it or that the name was mispronounced. Who knows. Either way it doesn't "sound" appealing by name but sounds yummy based on ingredients.
