For years people will say some business will come to San Antonio but not all of them do. Yes, I know there is a Lego store here but how long were people gossiping about it before it happened?

I really doubt now that SA will get another CM though.

We are not a large enough city yet.

The Stone Oak Market has a little over half the CM products that a traditional CM has. BUT If i had a special dish and the Stone Oak Market, Evans HEB, or Blanco HEB didn't carry my ingredient then I'm only 20 minutes away from CM. All that assuming the three other area groceries don't carry it.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but I looked into what is being built on Culebra and 1604 between the med clinic and the car dealership and it looks like its a new retail center called Culebra Commons that will include a Stone Werks. The first phase is slated to open July 2017.

Well, we're getting an IKEA when the naysayers said we wouldn't. Anything is possible.

The IKEA is going to be about 7 minutes from my house and I will never go. Not my thing. But I'm hoping the new Bulverde Rd. HEB is Central Market-ish. There's definitely lots of income out this way. I would think AR has a pretty good income level as well.

Looks like HEB will be breaking ground on the new Alamo Ranch store starting in March with a projected completion of November 2017.

Drove by the upcoming HEB location yesterday and noticed the HEB sign on the ground and a new apartment complex sign standing in its place. Anyone have any info?

Does the lot look big enough for both HEB and apartment complex?

HEB probably sold the land after they realized what a disaster the new 1604/151/ARP interchange turned out to be.

HEB has already confirmed this store will be built and they have not canceled it and they won't. HEB I very conservative when it comes to confirming new stores
