What about the *last* Pig Stand on Broadway. Still my vote for the best sweet tea in SA. And who could forget the ever classic Bracken Burger? You definitely get your fill of a burger there.

The restaurant Green, what is good there? How are their green burgers? I hate when a place says they have veggie burgers and it's really a boca burger or "gardenburger" or something like that. It says it's a homemade patty. Anyone?

(Everyone is thinking, "yeah! how long till Jules responds to the Green inquiry?!" LOL!)

The veggie burger is not my favorite thing at Green. It's good, but there just seems to be so many other things that are great and you can get a "veggie burger" lotsa places. It seemed kinda...... grain-y to me, like lots of grains. It falls apart pretty easily, too. Easier to eat it with a fork and knife.

What's good there? I LOVE the Sesame Chickin', the Stir Fry Tofu, the Zucchini Enchiladas, the Tofu PoBoy sandwich, the Reuben sandwich, the Mike sandwich, the....., the......., the........ (pretty much everything! ).

When ya gonna go??? I'll go with!!!

I don't know when I'm going to go. I'm going to THE movie today! I just remember this one restaurant in college that had the most amazing veggie burgers made from scratch. They were sort of held together with egg or something and all of the veggies were fresh. I miss that place. I think the last time I went back, they had changed to "gardenburger" brand of burgers. GRRR! Why do restaurants do that? I mean, those type of burgers are fine, but not as good as from scratch veggie burgers.
Anyway, we should do a lunch there or something with some of the gals from here. I'd love to try it out and I'm guessing I'd have to drag DH there (he's a meat eater!)!

Oh! That just reminded me. Ya know the Good Earth tea? Well, there used to be Good Earth restaurants. I'm thinking it was probably a chain, but don't know how many restaurants they had. Otherhalf and I used to go there pretty frequently when we were dating (about a zillion years ago!!! OK, about 26 years ago. A LONG time!). Anyway, the Good Earth tea that you can sometimes find in the store is what they served there (SO good!) and they had the BEST, I mean BEST veggie burger ever! They called it the Small Planet Burger and it was divine! MMmmmmmmmmm!!!! That is one chain I would love to see revived!!!

So yeah, group trip to Green!!! If we could do it when school gets out, we could all go down there, and then go to HemisFair park, or the Children's Museum, or the Witte, or anything/everything! Could be fun!

And you working mom's MUST call in "sick" and join us!!! Ya gotta have a sick day or something, right????? Please????????
