At the candidate forum I went to, they seemed to be rather chummy. They were having a spirited conversation with lots of smiling and laughing before the event. It wouldn't surprise me to see Mike's endorsement go her way.

Tommy's commissioner district overlapped Ivy's council district. At the very least, they should be well-acquainted with each other.

Taylor has already proved she's useless for this city. The good of San Antonio's future is with anyone but her, her careless attitude and her many power plays to kill progress.

It sounds like you are referring to the Cornerstone crowd that is voting for her solely because she is supporting their own self interest, which is discrimination. Yeah, polarization is always great for a city. Thanks for proving my point.

True. She's played it safe by doing absolutely nothing while she is in office. She had an interesting strategy, and took a gamble by rallying at Cornerstone. She knows that people from anti-gay hate groups vote. She already has the east side wrapped up. She knows the west siders and south siders are less likely to vote, and it just might be enough for her.

It's funny.....those attending Cornerstone are labeled "anti-gay hate groups". Racist much, or is it just anti-Christian hate? For the record - I don't attend Cornerstone, not my kind of church - but to label everyone there as such just speaks volume for your mindset.

Marsha Warren is the perfect example. It's amazing how many people will run to the polls solely to defend discrimination. The runoff should go down to the wire.
My view is skewed because I live amongst a significant LGBT community who always vote, and always vote for LGBT rights.

Um, they do spew anti-gay rhetoric. Of course it's a hate group. Has nothing to do with being Christian - I'd argue they're not really Christian if they spew such hate.

Sometimes if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck and well self identifies as a duck...it's a duck. They are a far right wing church, they are pro discrimination and happily admit to it.

I never liked Cornerstone but for many reasons other than just being "anti-gay". Such a large group goes to that church and many more watch on TV so I can see why Ivy would try to appeal to them for voting numbers.

Cornerstone has proven time and time again what side of discriminatory behavior they're on. It doesn't take a genius to google the dozens of articles about their brainwashing techniques and Hagee's obscene comments.

For example:

An Atheist Goes Undercover to Join the Flock of Mad Pastor John Hagee | Alternet

Or even:

http://www.sacurrent.com/Blogs/archi...g-stupid-again

Then there's:

https://theageofblasphemy.wordpress....zy-john-hagee/

Attend Cornerstone? I want nothing to do with you if you can follow a man like that.
