The 2 areas are quite different. One goes to Regan/NEISD and has SAPD. The other goes Smithson Valley/Comal ISD and has Bexar County sheriff. That alone, makes the 2 miles stretch quite a divide.
I'm secure in my toolness
stone oak area, and N281 = apples and oranges

I hope to move just east of 281 and south of 1604 at some point. Good neighborhoods in there?

Ha! I would rather live near a coke dealer than a meth lab/house full of stolen merchandise and junkies.
Rich areas have drugs for the rich,

LATE BREAKING NEWS: Shavano Park Estates is Ghetto and is a Murder Haven. You all remember Allen Blackthorn? The guy who had his ex-wife killed in Florida several years ago?
Because of him Shavano Park Estates where you can't touch a house for less than 800k has gone Ghetto.
By the way The Villages of Westcreek (my neighborhood) went Ghetto several years ago when my neighbor in front of us burnt down his small grocery store, filed a false insurance claim, and committed mail fraud. He went to Federal Prison for 3-4 years.
If crime in a neighborhood turns it into a Ghetto then we are all ...............

That's the one word that gets thrown around more inappropriately on this forum than any other.

It's sad to see people being surprised that a rich person got caught with drugs.
To me that shows that is very rare to see the "top dogs" getting thrown in jail

Yes you are correct. "Ghetto" was not the correct word for smuboy86 to use.

My point is that NO NEIGHBORHOOD / SUBDIVISION is without crime. If smuboy86 is looking for such a place he /she will be looking forever and never be happy. The fact that I live near a criminal /convict (mentioned above) never made us want to move nor do we feel that The Villages of Westcreek is a bad place to live. (Except fpr the HOA -But that's another Thread)
