What has this to do with illegal immigration? This below is how it -what happened in Flint,mi that poisoned everybody.

Michigan GOP Governor Rick Schneider, appointed City Managers to each of these cities
( unelected, GOP -appointed, city managers ) to fix everything for these destitute cities, financially. These appointees are the ones- who made the decisions , over objections by the Mayor,to cut city costs drastically in Flint and the other Michigan bankrupted cities. Financial managers whom Cut corners in what ever way possible. There were 90% city office staff layoffs in Pontiac,mi. Meanwhile.
Flint,mi was buying Detroit City Water ( good stuff, as good as the water here is) but it was marginally cheaper to use polluted Flint River Water instead,( the cost difference between Flint, River water treatment over Detroit Water was near, nay, entirely inconsequential) but it was done.
To the woe of thousands and thousands of school children, Lead poisoning. People will answer for this soon, in the courts. Indictments are out for these criminals. Several will pay. They have been nailed down.

This same GOPer-appointer-( Schneider) on the other hand, welcomes immigrants to Michigan, and publicly stated to the Detroit Free Press that,----here it comes now.
"Michigan Law Enforcement will not enforce immigration laws". "It is not our job."
An Old Right Leaning Conservative he is too. The irony of this week ago statement by Governor Schneider is of substance and deserves recognition. The entire Rep. Party does not stink, no. Gov. Schneider is very much out of line with Trumps. See? Where "immigrants" are concerned, see? Plus, Schneider stinks politically of Flint River Water but he is OK. This in all things Holy( the poisoning of kids) is how the connection is made. Through this Republican. Most or all would miss this.
Political or other Absurdities can be addressed here. With controversy or comedy. You are not the first dissatisfied victim of statements posted here I think.

Nismospec. It is true, you are surely right. It has always been so. We the people have always been torn apart. Polarized. Things have been worse here in Texas, than they are today. We are more civilized today.
My uncles lives in Flint. A World War two vet. He volunteered to go to the South Pacific. It was made more personal by this. I wish the Donald well. Really.
A simple "no" to my previous question would have sufficed, and been more easy to understand than the word salad you relied with.

I tried to read this thread but it was just a bunch of bickering between liberals and conservatives.

You must not know how to read numbers.

We have international migration on par with Austin, Sacramento, Portland, and Charlotte which are all metropolitan areas that are size and growing about the same rate.

None of our numbers are that impressive but I wouldn't call anyone our economies weak. Knock yourself out with the link below to actual facts.

Yes and I quite believe you to be right. All the fuss is about nothing, I believe the Trumpster will
only snare up criminals.

Sufficed? I am sure that you are not the only one who has to put effort into understanding posts, so I elaborate to expound upon the explanation of how it was all intertwined.
