Very low at 15%. San Antonio is not an international city at all.

To get back on topic though, I do have to wonder what the impact would be on the housing industry in San Antonio if all "illegals" get deported. Without immigrants, the price of building houses here would skyrocket I am sure.

You are doing exactly what I described in that infamous second post. You are conflating legal, and illegal immigration. There is nothing wrong with coming here legally. No one is deporting legal immigrants.

I'm pretty sure there are a significant amount of "illegals" working for many builders here in S.A. That kinda goes with the territory in that industry.

This thread is so lame. Everyone likes immigrants, and most of us were immigrants at some point or another.

No one wants to stop immigration. Without immigration, our population would be in decline because Americans just aren't having babies at a rate that creates positive growth.

That said... it's totally ridiculous that anyone here would be totally ok with exclusively poverty-stricken people streaming across the border. Our economy cannot support the welfare that's required of it, and we already have nearly 1/3rd of working age people not in the workforce (either on welfare or living in poverty). We are not a country without borders, and we have every right to want to make sure we protect our country's interests.

Not sure what this has to do with anything because these counts do not take into account illegals immigrants.

There is no increased enforcement. When ICE said they were doing business as usual, they were telling the truth. There were bigger raids under the previous administration.

It may be true in the SA area but in Austin (and I know you know) it has increased. I've had a gsndful of families come to me concerned about whatever you want to call what is going on,
