Sound advice. So many restaurants have rough openings, especially if the expectations are high and deadlines are just barely made. I am sure they will end up just fine...at least I hope so!

She (Mom2Feebs) wasn't replying to your post about Violas, she was responding to a post by johnts71 about another restaurant. No need to be rude.

I can't believe we lost Zuni Grill, which used to be a great spot 10+ years ago, and are replacing it with Charlie Wants a Burger. That's just embarrassing. Too bad the city can't regulate horrible concepts - or at least horrible names.

Another reason why locals (and visitors in the know) are flocking to the Pearl and Southtown for restaurants - they actually have great, original concepts that bring something new to San Antonio.

CWaB is owned by the same people that ran Zuni Grill. And CWaB is a unqiue concept to San Antonio, especially the Riverwalk.

Im not flocking to overpriced average food! thats all south town is....id rather eat at food trucks to be honest with you. Best BBQ is on the corner of 410 and naco..a little truck called Congers Smoke Shack..not The Granary.
