Wow... all this talk and I haven't been able to scan the models yet. It's usually at this time I make my 8 day

Haha I'm running behind schedule. Time to multitask and in about an hour or so it'll be up in the SAWxThread.

Well, I have actually heard of Lifehouse and was advised yesterday that the Spazmatics (or something like that) is an 80s cover band that Turtle Mom was very excited about...from another thread. So...Sapphire volunteered me to watch kids for whoever was going to 80s cover night. woohoo! yay me!

Haha ain't that the truth. I just checked the 00z GFS and it shows the ridge holding strong until the end of next week where it will break down as a result of a trough digging down from the Rockies. That may or may not give us some rain, wishful thinking leads me to believe we have a small chance given the setup.

If anything, it'll add to the humidity and lower temps somewhat.

There's also potential tropical development in the Gulf of Mexico beyond that that we'll need to keep our eye on. This run has it making landfall near Corpus Christi. Yesterday, it was New Orleans.

Now I'm off to check what the other models say. LOL
