Wish I could enjoy the nice weather this weekend. I have a booth at the Live Oak Civic Center SABOS Bead Bazaar this weekend.
pushing my luck with this post...I know! But I've never seen so many beads in one place. If your into it, you should come check it out!

If it wasn't so far, I'd go check it out! I used to think nothing of going out there, but lately, not so much!

Did anyone check out Cornyval? We never made time yesterday, and today there is too much to do around the house.

Here's a good deal for the new Stockyards restaurant, in case you want to go but hate spending all that coin on something you're not sure about!

Another one for Oodles--which I have eaten at. They are good, but I don't like how they bring each person's entree out as it's made, rather than all at once. But the food is certainly good and fresh!

We went ahead and bought one--even though they added a $3.75 s&h charge to it. Still not a bad deal. Good thing we didn't want to use it tonight, though. They said to allow 7-10 days for delivery.

My daughter and I went to the Stockyards last night. When we got in the parking lot we thought it was really busy, but figured out that was overflow from Rudy's.. We checked out the menu and then left. It was way too expensive for the reviews I've heard so far. I don't mind spending money on good stuff, but so far I've only heard it's OK or not bad.. that's more of a $10 meal place review..

I did Cornyval... opening night.... all I wanted was to ride the tilt-a-whirl, so I haphazardly, half-seriously asked a friend if she'd go ride the tilt-a-whirl with me, she said yes, grabbed another mutual friend.... and there ya go....

CROWDS CROWDS CROWDS, but you know, with it being free opening night, crowds weren't a surprise.....

and they have rides that should mandate having someone's mental capacity if they choose to go on them.... I got dizzy and near sick just watching then....
whippin' around up the air, nearly as high as a light aircraft, then flippin', twirlin', spinnin', zoomin' upward, crashin' downward....
good lord almighty......
those are the people I watch out for on the road, because their brains are surely scrambled BEFORE THE RIDE, just to be choosing to even go on it.... LOLOLOL....
not me, seester, the tilt a whirl is my speed... LOLOL.....
had some GORGEOUS vendor goods though..... jewelry... mmm mmmm mmmm

Just made my own version of the Jacob's Creek Sangria they have at TFI Fridays and I like mine better. I think I use more of the Shiraz and less Triple Sec than they do.
It's strange that I love Sangria because I can't stand wine..

I don't measure anything, so it's kinda hard to give a specific recipe.. I started with Triple Sec, probably about 2 ounces. filled a little over 1/3 of the cup with Jacob's Creek Shiraz (I don't know if it has to be that brand, but definitely has to be Shiraz). Then I added Some of the good Dole mixed fruite with a little of its light syrup and mixed in some Simlpy Nutricious Morning Blend juice. I got the juice at HEB in the front part of the juices. It's a mix of 7 juices and 100% juice.
I probably could've easily made it stronger because it tastes really good and the only way you can tell there's alcohol in it is from the buzz. Pretty good stuff, maybe I'll sell it back to TGI Fridays...

forgot to mention that all of it came from HEB+ (except the Triple Sec of course), so no need to go to walllyworld..

and yowzers.. Bug-bot video reveals swarming drones, extreme rocking - Engadget
that's wild
