a lot of things on here make me hungry too

I hope I never have a job that requires me to drive up 1604 after 7:00 AM. There is just no way I could do it.

Why not? I just did a few days of "our street" to I-10/DeZavala to visit a client site. Left the house at 8AM..stopped at McD's on the other side of 1604..and still made it there between 8:35-8:40 AM each day...where are the delays that people speak of. Sure, it was a lil slow in spots...but no big deal. (and I went all the way to I-10 ..there's probably a short cut through neighborhoods that I (or my GPS) don't know about.)

My commute is 1604 starting at Potranco. There was a wreck around Shanefield. It took me one hour to get to that point. I left my house at 6:45 am. Then after I passed there it only let up a bit and backed up again due to something at I10..go figure. So there went another hour.
My finish line is Judson Rd off 1604.
Hubby got caught in that too. Said he sat there forever and when he passed by the wreck, it didn't look like much at all to be causing that much of a slow down.

Is this a daily thing? I'm sure this happens in other areas as well.

I think by 8:00 it's not that bad, it's the 6:30 - 8:00 ballet of morons that sucks. So basically you're cool if you work 9:00 - 5:00 and screwed if you have to be at work between 7:00 and 8:00

OK..well that might make sense. I could've left whenever I wanted...just wanted to see what it was like in the mornings around here. I left the site by 4PM each day...it was a little slower in the afternoon.

By 8 I imagine it's not as bad. I have to be in my classroom by 7:30 so I have to leave by no later than 6:45 max.
In the afternoons, if I leave by 4 I'm good. Much after that and forget it!

The two hour deal happens every so often. I agree, that wreck didn't look that bad but for whatever reason it sure messed up traffic!!

The back up by I10 is a daily thing!!

Man, it is foggy out this morning. I wish it would just rain and be done, this drizzle is getting old. However, I suppose I shouldn't complain, at least it is some moisture.
