Awww, gy, you have a big heart. I'm so sorry about your wife--sometimes the pull of the street, or an addiction just beats out everything. I'm sure you were a great comfort to her. And you've found such an awesome way to honor her. Keep us posted on your foundation.

Also sorry to hear about your mom. Alzheimer's is a cruel disease. Again, I'm sure you are a great comfort to her. I'll keep all of you in my prayers!!

gy2020, I'm sorry for your loss... it's really hard to lose someone you're attached to... but it's incredibly honorable what you are doing about it.

Trust me.. it was very hard for me to share my story and type it.. and it does feel a lot better getting it out there. Afterwards, you don't have to keep up a front while posting.. and whether you like it or not.. we all spend plenty of our time on these forums (especially if the post counts are near or above 1000). It takes a lot of courage to post these stories.. and I'm very glad that you did.

What you have done to overcome tragedy is very inspiring as you continue to move to help those who are in need, and those who are often forgotten in society. I'd love to help out in anyway I can (unfortunately I don't have many financial means to do so right now given the current situation) but helping people certainly is the way to go.

I also really wish well for your mother, and I'm thrilled to hear she's in good spirits. That is the way to be.

I totally agree. This is a very great thing you are doing and it will make the bond you and Stacey have even stronger.

Anthony, if you ever need to talk to someone, I have big ears and a heart. DM me anytime you need. When I get the foundation going I am going to be working on chapters in other cities and states. I can always use volunteers. I hope to get about 90 percent women volunteers, but I am looking for volunteers of both sexes. It will be a big job. I do plan to take in nationally in about two to three years after it is started. A lot of people need help out there and there is no better way of helping yourself through an issue than by helping others.

Life is really lame sometimes but it always gives you a rebound. Just wait you guys. ( you might have got a boast but it get better)

The American public is fing stupid. Can we please let history play out before judging it?

Oh and I tried to kick my roommate out but her government assistance came to the rescue! (once again I cant believe unemployment pays idiots to be lazy)
