So will it be widescrean 16:9 HD? If so - I would switch. I hate watching WOAI on my 50" 1080P TV with black bars on each side. The 16:9 would get me switch for sure.

Is Vanessa Macias back on TV? I hadn't seen her in a while.

I'm with you on that one. Stations that don't provide true HD need to be left in the dust

I am ready for the local news networks to go 16:9...the sooner the better.

I think she's doing car commercials.

OMG. Now I'll be afraid to flip channels and see Marrou in high-def. If you thought his smart-ass remarks were bad, just wait until you see the inner-depths of his not-ready-for-primetime makeup job.

Two words: Air brush. It's the only way to go with HD broadcasting.

Ain't that the truth. Thankfully, Sarah Lucero won't have that problem.

But I can tell you this: The first time I saw Jay Leno in HD, I nearly fell off the couch when he swung his big huge "Leno-esk" chin around. I never realized just how massive that thing was until seeing him in HD!

She and her husband are in Austin now. He's sports director at one of the stations there.

Its not HD if its not widescreen, so yes it will be 16:9.
