Any word on when HEB would build a HEB Plus near Alamo Heights? So far all the HEB Plus stores have been very far from us. It would be nice to have one near by.

I'll bet that if we took a poll of the people who live closer to HEB Plus than Central Market, the vast majority would gladly swap their HEB Plus for your Central Market.

There is a large HEB (not HEB Plus) on Austin Hwy, the smaller Oak Park one is just about a 1.5 miles away, another large HEB (not a Plus) in Olmos Park and then, of course, Central Market at the center of these 4. How many more HEB's do you want in a 2-3 mile area? With Target nearby - tell me again why we need an HEB Plus???

Don't forget about the Lincoln Heights HEB! Actually Windcrest has been trying to attract an HEB plus to their city. That one would probably be the closest one that Alamo Heights will get to one.

Why would you want an HEB plus? My opinion, central market is much nicer

You can have 'our' HEB Plus! Just give us a regular HEB.

Now that I think about it, and I've actually been to an HEB Plus for the first time today...I love my Licoln Heights HEB. HEB Plus is really over-rated and it plain sucks. Waaayyyy too big.

Please don't misunderstand me, I'd never trade Central Market for anything. I'd hate for them to close that one. That's my weekend heb...lol.
