Is this while you are drinking your bottled water? Well, not you, of course, I mean people of your generation. I have no idea what you're drinkin'.

I have re-usable cups both at work and home. Thanks.

I don't drink anything from a bottle, thankyouverymuch (well, not true... I used to enjoy wine... from a GLASS bottle.)

SA tap water is fine with me!! In a nice mug that goes to and from the office w/ me daily.

Okay, I'm sorry but you sound like my mother-in-law who has told me the same thing. I'm sure the cloth dipes of your generation weren't as easy... but they have changed, big time. They are as easy as using a (nasty) 'sposie, minus the chemicals. They have changed... and IMHO, it *is* worth it.

I wonder if Target will also carry diaper pins - that would seem to make sense.

I remember my diaper pins were blue, pink and yellow ducks. They are still tucked somewhere in my Dad's house. Won't need them for a while!!

Not sure if they do... however, the "new" cloth diapers don't require pins. Click on that BumGenius link and you'll see what I mean...

Cloth diapers do make good burp rags! 30 years ago when our oldest was a baby we tried cloth. They were called B-52's or 747's something like that! Yes, maybe they've improved . Granted they need to come up with better ways to dispose of plastics. Nowadays, we use foam plates a lot. I think it's a waste of money since you can just wash your dishes. But, I'm not so sure! Takes an awful lot of water to wash dishes. Plus energy to heat the water! Not to mention it's a real pain in the *ss for the dish washer!! All's I'm saying is I'll save the planet or the trees in my own way!

WOW! Those are very cool! All this time I was thinking the same cloth diapers I was in and then saw my sister in when I was 4 or 5 years old.

I dont remember them looking like that at all, how great, cute and easy!

Good for Target for carrying them. I know Costco is carrying a cloth diaper pack online as well. Costco - Bumkins All-In-One Diaper Bundle 6-pack w/ 6 Diaper Inserts (http://www.costco.com/Browse/Productgroup.aspx?Prodid=11297913&whse=BC&topnav=& browse=&lang=en-US - broken link)

I agree with the reasons and concepts of cloth. But I do know of a person who just throws her soiled diapers in the "Super-sanitary" wash in her super expensive washer and dryer. So to me, they are using tons of energy and water to wash the diapers - how is that better? She is also one who buys so many diapers it's crazy, she's spent way over the $500 I bet. She also owns close to $1000 in baby carriers. Some people spend tons of money on cloth - they use them like fashion accessories! I know Good Mama is a pretty pricey cloth diaper.

I just think it's interesting when people pick up things like cloth diapering and baby-wearing more as an "in thing" than the good behind the choices, you know? Just making observations. Not slamming cloth, I have nothing wrong with it!
