I'll admit it..........they have delicious chicken biscuits at breakfast time. I mean they are so, so, so good. Their regular chicken sandwich is good--but I take the pickles off, so I'm definitely not a purist. And then you have the waffle fries which are really good, and just unusual.

I'll agree with Txtrkgrl about the nuggets.........they are teeny-tiny, but at least they seem like real chicken and not just "parts".

The owner is a devout Christian man, and that's why they are never open on Sundays--to give the employees time for family and/or worship. Some of the Las Palapas restaurants here in town still do that, too.

SCARED OF WAFFLE FRIES???? What are you doing to that boy?

My oldest could not be taken into Albertson's when he was little........the cookie monster they had set up to give the kids a free cookie would send him into fits of horror. It was so embarrassing.

Chic-Fil-a observing a sabbath in a manner of speaking, and closing it's doors one day a week is actually probably the most appealing factor of me liking that business so much. This should be something practiced by many more.

I'm doing some homework for my business ethics class and came across this: Chick-fil-A CFO Shares Success Recipe

I read that link thinking he was sharing the actual recipe on how to make a Chik fil A sandwich, but instead, I read about how Warren Buffet treated his sandwich when he was offered one. Nice read. Still want the recipe, though.

Dan Cathy gave tours of the restaurant after dinner. He said he doesn't mind us seeing the recipe because CFA at least HAS a recipe. As Dan said, most other quick-serve restaurants have 3 words in their recipe - "Open the box."

I briefly worked at Chick-fil-a before so I was already aware of the food preparation.

YUMMY!
Went there for lunch today. They had a manager greeting you at the drive through and handing out menus. Then another person taking your order by the big drive-up menu board. Then another person placing the order around the corner. And finally, TWO people at the drive-up window taking your money and handing you the food.
The place was packed and there were tons of staff. For a place that has well-established brand recognition, they really know how to open a new location!!

When we drove by last night around 6:30pm, the line for the drive-thru was around the building. Definitely popular!
