I wish I had the nerve to do that. I need $$$$oooo much dental work but with everything that has gone on across the border I just think I'd have a panic attack if nothing else. My nephew however goes all the time to Monterey.

Well, I spoke to my sister-in-law (she crosses over pretty often) and she told me her sister-in-law's niece was recently abducted from a pharmacy and raped by several men, about 3 weeks ago. This happened just one block from entry point, on the right side. Luckily she's still alive but it leaves me wondering what has happened to our little Nuevo Progreso. She told me if I were to go that it would be best to go with a large group. She wouldn't recommend that a female cross by herself.
