oh I forgot. Today is the day we finally get a break from all those stupid announcements. I seriously hope there are some people on the news complaining about how they didn't hear anything about it..

This reminds me of the Simpsons when Homer started freaking out because he couldn't find the remote control

It was delayed once to allow extra time for people to get ready. Please don't tell me the news will be full of people who heard nothing of the change. After all those annoying anouncements and banners running on every show, you can't honestly say you did not know.
If you watch that much TV, you HAD to have seen the notice.
maybe it will be a good thing and those people can get thier face out of the TV. Now I need something to get my face out of the computer!!!!!!

My favorite Gearge Carlin line went something like. " The average person you meet on the street is pretty stupid. That means, by definition, that half of the population is even stupider than that."

now losing a remote is no laughing matter.. I will easily spend 20 minutes looking for it just so I don't have to go over to the cable box and change the channel.
