The chances for rain will disappear the close we will get to it. Same with a "cool" front.

Well, I already stated my caveat with the low on the models being a bit too far east for my liking. But, that said, the pattern is changing and the ridge will break down this month. Temperatures will begin their gradual cool-down, and rain (probably not enough) will eventually come back.

You speak for the majority? That is laughable. You would be the last person I would want to represent Texans.

109 is breaking records, therefore it is not the normal every day no big deal weather you are trying to make it out to be.

It is also not a situation where you melt immediately when stepping outside like you folks are making it out to be.

Stop the fuss and accept that San Antonio is not Seattle and therefore we do not get rain here often.
I guess in your perfect world you have not realized that Texas is under a severe drought and in dire need of water. Oh wait, lakes/rivers/creeks drying up that's normal too right?

I have learned after many years of observing forecasts
to never trust a forecast so far in advance.

Looks like the temperatures got so hot, that thunderstorms are able to develop.
