Hey guys, the CV - Palm Springs area is one of the places on my list of possible future relocation destinations.

I noticed that this summer has been unusually cool. Do y'all agree or care to comment, please? Just curious, thanks.

Except for a brief 5 day period in mid-July and a shorter one in early June, California South of the Tehachapis has been experiencing a non-Summer.

According to articles, it has been a summer of record-breaking cool temps. Almost unbelievably cool which is strange since the rest of the nation has been really hot.

Here in Burbank (just over the hills from Hollywood), the weather pattern that is causing coastal residents to complain about the lack of summer, is our blessing. Except for that period mentioned by Fontucky, the weather has been nearly perfect, averaging about 85 with low humidity. Makes you feel like you're getting your money's worth out of the high rents here.

Yeah, I get that. I'll bet everyone around the SFV and those living between the 210 and the San Gabriels are lovin' it.

Thanks for sharing, everybody! My memories of LA seem like dreams now, sure hope to come back for a visit before too long!

Sure, the CV may have cooler summer temps this season, but it's still like living on the face of the sun and is still hotter than hell!!!
