Help! We are moving to So. CA when our home sells in Idaho and are interested in private Christian schools in the Temecula and Murietta area. We have a child in elementary school. Also, if you have any information about home schooling in the Inland Empire I would appreciate it. Thank you!

We had our daughter enrolled at Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac, in Temecula, and were very pleased with the staff and quality of education. It is a private Catholic school but is not excessive in teaching on the religion component.

I don't know much about this school but I drive past it all the time... but I figured I can just throw out a name for you to look into? Rancho Christian School.

Calvary Church Murrieta also has a private school... I believe it's called Calvary Chapel Christian Academy.

As for homeschooling... Temecula School District has a homeschool program... it uses the same curriculum as the public schools (which are great, by the way).

But if you're looking more into homeschooling with a Christian perspective... I don't know much about it yet since my daughter is only 3... but we're planning to do that. Calvary Church Murrieta has a PSP program so contacting them would be a great way to start on networking with other Christian homeschoolers.

We just attended a homeschool expo in Escondido (30 minutes south) t2 weeks ago and learned that there is a home support group in Fallbrook. It's about 15 minutes south. They're affiliated with Christian Family Schools of San Diego.

I haven't looked into a home support or co-op group yet for us here in Riverside County so I can't really tell you much about it yet. I'm still trying to meet other homeschooling families in the area.

If you're looking at secular homeschooling... I don't know anything about that. Sorry, I can't help you much. I wish I have more useful information for you.

Temecula Prepraratory School is very Good too! Not Christian, but cream of the crop. Just have to get on a waiting list. My friend has a son in kindergarten and they are teaching them french and spanish! Many of my friends at church take their kids there.

We are interested in Calvary Chapel Murrietta and Rancho Christian School. CCM seems to be more expensive but it is more established. The campus looks a little older. RCM supposedly is has a beautiful building and the students wear uniforms. Does anyone have any other information? I would consider homeschooling too.
