who has moved from Charlotte to Yucca Valley,I need help with finding a hair stylist who can do twist or sista locks , a job, my last job was at Bell South in customer service was there 8 yrs,a good church ,and a good man or companion where does one go to hang out
I can't help ya with the job, the man or the sista locks, but I go to a church called Vuctory Christian Center in Rancho Mirage and there is another Victory up there in Yucca Valley. It's an off-shoot of our church. I've never been to the one in Yucca, but their pastor has come to our church a few times and gave the sermon. If the church up there is anything like the one here in my area, you may enjoy it.

Hopefully, when you start going to church, you can meet & become friends w/ the people & find out about the other things you wanted to know, such as hairstylists, etc.
There are 2 Calvary Chapels in the Yucca Valley area, one is House of Jesus and the other is Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel. I attend one in Redlands and I know many of the Calvary Chapel's have singles groups which might help you to meet others in your area. The website is Calvary Chapel. Hope this helps!

I have been looking for a salon to blow dry my hair since I moved to CA 1 month ago. I think I found it. Salon Vered is cute and full of style. I was lucky enough to be with Vered, the salon owner. She did a great job blow drying my hair. It was just the way I like my hair straight. When you have the curls that I have, getting it perfectly straight without a flat iron is key. I have tried a few other salons in the area and by far she did the best job. She even gives a little head massage while conditioning.
I gave it 4 stars based on my 1 time going there. I would have liked more of a massage and the outside of the building is under construction. Her prices are reasonable for cuts and color as well.
