To get an idea of what he was referring to, come to Fontana during a stiff Northeast wind event. The experience will completely redefine Santa Ana winds for you. I thought I'd been in some good ones... then I moved to Fontana.

I didn't live too far from Fontana. (right off old Highland Ave) before, during and after the I-210 extention.

Then you know exactly what I mean. Muscoy is well within the destruction zone of Cajon Pass accelerated NE winds.

Do you remember the train wreck of "89" where the (overloaded) train lost it's brakes coming down Cajon Pass?
