Default Sundance Development in Chino Hills

I am wondering if anyone on here knows anything about the Sundance Community. We are in the final stages of escrow on a 1400 sq ft single family home, and it turns out that through some loophole, the developer listed the units as "condos" with the County/City instead of as PUD. I am wondering if anyone has ever encountered such a problem, and if it might affect the resale value of the home. The house is currently being appraised, and our Realtor is making sure to "show" the appraiser that it is in fact a house, and not a condo. The HOA does not traet the units as condos, but as houses, and they are in fact houses (free-standing buildings on their own lots). We like the property, but do not want to buy if it is going to have mediocre resale due to mis-classification in the assessor's records.

Thanks!

Contact the Planning Department (or Community Development Dept.) and find out what kind of housing development was approved. Whether the City approved it as a PUD or otherwise will be a determining factor towards the San Bernardino County Tax Assessor's office's classification for the property. The County will want to be consistent, generally, with the City in my experience dealing with them.
