You know John, I really have to agree with about everything you wrote...Southern California is all that! I think my problem, if it is indeed a problem, is that I remember CA the way it used to be! I came to CA from MI when there were orange trees everywhere and the smell from those orange blossoms are still in my memory. I remember driving down the 91 to take our kids to Knotts Berry Farm and you could just sail along, no matter what time of day or night it was...and, if memory serves me, it was just a 4 lane freeway back then! I don't ever remember seeing graffiti anywhere. Going to San Diego wasn't much fun back then though, because the 15 (395) was just a 2 lane road and heaven help you if you got behind a slow moving truck! Things were just slower and people were never in a hurry...there was no such thing as 'road rage!' I guess progress is inevitable...but at what price?

"Toll Infestation"

Now that's a great way to phrase that!
You can witness what the toll infestation is all about when you live on the east coast.

I've been to the East Coast. We are pretty lucky here in Southern California. A coulpe of toll roads and toll lanes.
