Default Reed Valley (near Hemet)

I'm thinking about buying land in Reed Valley near Hemet. I was wondering if anyone had any views on

- the climate
- the nearby cities
- a possible commute into Riverside & San Diego

I'm in my late 20s, single and a freelance writer. I'm wondering if there are any good libraries and cultural attractions (theatre, cinemas etc) in the nearby towns. I'm also interested in hearing about the dating scene (I also speak broken Spanish).

The climate is pretty much moderate but in the summer the temperatures can rise over 100 degrees. Make sure your house has A/C.

The near by cities can be scenic from higher elevations. A trip to Idyllwild is always enjoyable. Palm Spings is only a few minutes away and I enjoy a drive up the 79 North. Some spots are rural and scenic if you enjoy that type of environment.

I like seeing old historic builings and I enjoy going to museums. I recently visited the Edward-Dean Museum in Cherry Valley. Nice. I am planning to be more adventerous and explore new places.

I hope I was of some help.
