I am disabled and have been living on Percocet for years. I expect to be allowed to use medical marijuana for my constant pain when I get to California. I sleep late each day to make up for not sleeping much at night due to my pain. I have a hard time staying focused on anything for long probably due to all the meds. I am on a very limited S.S. disability income which I must supplement in some way to get by. So preferably, I would prefer a job where I get paid under the table so to speak in cash.

So anyone know or have a suggestion for any employment in north S.D. that begins late in the day, doesn't demand much concentration, doesn't require one to be on their feet much or at all, and pays in cash. It would also be nice if the number of hours could be somewhat flexible each day based on how well I feel. I don't need health benefits or a retirement plan.

This is a joke! Do you really expect to find something with those restrictions?

I am not joking. Everyone has to survive any way they can, or as the saying goes, "You have to play the cards you are dealt."

Hopefully when I can get a substitute for all the strong drugs and muscle relaxers I have to take, my sleep, stamina, and attention span will improve so I can be more flexible in what I am capable of doing. But until then, any positive suggestions for work would be appreciated.

I'm sorry for your problems but your job requirements are, frankly, unrealistic. The only thing I can think of, and this is probably even unlikely, is to sign up for temp work. That way you can set your schedule. Another possibility would be a WalMart Greeter but they have to be able to stand and work a schedule, which you say you can't do.

Do you live in So. CA now? If not, do you realize that San Diego is expensive to live in and has a very poor salary to cost of living ratio?

since you seem to be at least surviving where you are living right now, I strongly suggest you stay there. California, North County SD is very very expensive and your work restrictions are not realistic, to say the least.
