I have a half wet suit for snorkeling in temps mid 60's. Below that it is too cold. Today I wore a rash guard but only to prevent a wardrobe malfunction (which i am frigtningly prone to) bc I was body surfing and boogy boarding. Regardless, they do help you last a little longer out there, plus prevent sunburn.

Yes, it was! I was at Mission Beach yesterday (haven't swam there in over 10 years, and I gotta say it wasn't rowdy at all! A lot more families than I remember) and the water felt great. Much warmer than Coronado Beach the weekend before. Current observations:
