No kidding Shmoov! LOL. We were going to take the kids bike riding around Miramar Lake but I figure it must be over 105 degrees there near Scripps Ranch. No thanks...we're going to the pool instead...

Try 108! I was out near the lake a couple of hours ago and recorded this temperature reading on my phone. There should be some impressive highs all around the county at the end of the day.

86 now on the beach, we broke down and turned the air on when I got home today. I got really over heated today.i was out in city heights about 10-11am and it already a blast furnace. I never could get cooled off. My husband went swimming at lunch and said the waters chilly, so you know you'll cool off that way.

Yep. Downtown it was 80 degrees. At the intersection of the 15 and 805, it was 99.

That's maybe five miles, and 19 degrees. Yuck.

In less than 2 hours the temp dropped to to 75 with a cooooool breeze. The decrease in humidity makes all the difference.

I spent most of the day at the coast. When I came Back to North Park to drop my friend's dog off and shower after swimming it was 105. I said "oh HELL no" and headed back down to OB where I putzed around for a few hours until dark. Now I'm home and it's still pretty hot, but with the windows open and the fans on it's at least bearable. Ish. I'll likely be sitting outside watching a movie on my laptop since it'll be a couple hours before my place is anywhere near comfortable.
