I NEVER see them anymore. It's been a few months to a half a year. I used to see them everywhere around 30th & El Cajon area. I have heard some people say that they've hit the back streets but I haven't noticed this myself. The crime data map shows only 2 cases in the last 60 days - one south of University Ave. (so it doesn't count). Not that the crime map is an accurate representation or anything...

Well, there's always the internet if you are getting desperate.

They're still there, you just don't see them. According to the crime watch that I got the other day, SDPD arrested six of them after 11:00 at night on May 27. There's a bike patrol now, and they sneak up on them, therefore, they can't do business.

Yeah, I think most prostitutes with half a brain use CL and the like to peddle their filthy business.

I still see 'em every once in a while. There was one girl out there workin' it all day yesterday- I passed her like 4 times when I was out running errands.

Haha.

Maybe it is the bike patrol, forgot about that. I was just curious. Grew up in the area and this is the first time I've seen it where they aren't crawling everywhere - constantly.

Wait until it warms up at night, then you'll see them.

They come and go. I haven't figured out if it's the level of enforcement they're throwing at the area at any given time or what, but there definitely seems to be an ebb and flow to the numbers.

For a couple of years I didn't see a lot of stuff going on, then about 2 years ago I noticed a marked increase in the streetwalkers. Up until maybe 6 months ago I was seeing the girls all over the place in the area, now I hardly see 'em at all.

It really depends on where you are, too. On Illinois just a half block off of ECB my friends were reporting all sorts of goings-on up until about 6 months ago, but on Utah between EBC and Adams I haven't seen a damn thing in the years I've been here.

One just got arrested by North Park Produce last week, so they're out there. But when I worked in Point Loma from January - April, they would walk past my H&R Block office on Midway. So they're not just on ECB.

I had a meeting out by the College (Cuyamaca) and what looked like hookers were all over both N and S of the 8.
