I disagree. I think San Diego is more beautiful-it looks more tropical because of all the plants that grow here, which would never grow in the foggy, cold climate of San Francisco.
That said, while there are a great many things about San Diego, it isn't America's Finest City. I would say Honolulu is (probably biased because it's my hometown
), and if it was on the mainland, or closer to it, I think more people would agree with me
