About 10-15 years ago there used to be a TV show on Sunday mornings (possibly on PBS) that featured a 40s-50 year old Caucasian man wearing one of those traditional Chinese shirts

He used to talk about spirituality and it was probably Buddhist based teachings. He used to do retreats in San Diego County. I think the show was called "Inspire" but I can't seem to find any links anywhere.

Tony Robbins maybe?

He lived in San Diego(actually Del Mar) for a while. He did a ton of "inspirational" workshops here, and also was always on TV doing infomercials. He also had a few TV shows. He's the one who keeps getting in trouble for making workshop attendees burn their feet while crossing hot coals barefoot. Not a buddhist, but his workshops revolve around mumbo gumbo "neurolinguistic programming" that could perhaps seem a little buddhist leaning. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Robbins

Nope - not Tony Robbins. The show was a weekly spiritual show. I know who Tony Robbins is and this show was nothing like a Tony Robbins motivational speech.

Yes I think the show was called Enspire and it was a White guy dressed in traditional chainese garb and spoke of Buddah teachings. Please look me up on FB @jonnybb1 or Twitter @jonnybb1 I'm interested in what ever happened to him

Yep, I think it was called "Inspire!" or something to that effect. He used to hold weekend retreats in Mt. Laguna or Cuyamaca and it was centered around Buddhist style teachings. I wonder what happened to him? Google returns nothing.
