Saw some horn happy morons today expecting me to run over peds in a crosswalk so they could make the light. Ya, they got the finger. Dipshirts that can't manage their own lives. Whatever.

Either way, moving forward.
Hood punches? Is this Harambe type shirt? That sort of violent behavior ties in well with having formerly resided in Oceanside's worst areas. The only people who engage in such behavior are persons who have no assets and therefore there is nothing for them to lose.

Sometimes the traffic gets better, just ask anyone that dealt with the 5 / 805 merge twenty years ago and today, it’s nowhere near as bad as it use to be. Just yesterday I played Torrey Pines for the first time in over a year and couldn’t believe how quickly I got onto the 5 off Genesse, I use to dread a late tee time because of it, but I won’t anymore thanks to our friends at Caltrans.

I will say that San Diego is much worse now than it was when I was a kid in the 1980’s, just from an observational standpoint, but has greatly improved in some areas since dealing with it as an adult. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s still bad, just not as horrible as people make it out to be. I think a lot has to do with liking your job, business, activity, etc you’re commuting to/from and your overall demeanor. My wife and several friends use the time to talk their family and friends on the east coast and actually enjoy it.

Traffic would be better if more people focused on driving alone and not talking while driving.

However, reacting to any bad driving from distracted motorists is liable to get your hood punched, so there's that.

Oh, so it's mocking any proper annoyance with fake pleasantries instead of an actual property assault. Got it.

You mean the sloth-like pedestrians who can't be bothered to put forth any effort into crossing, right?

It’s really not too difficult to talk and drive at the same time, people just need to stop texting.
